About RPL/RCC & CT
RPL - Recognition of Prior Learning

RPL is a process where bu you are assessed on your current industry experience. You may already process all the competencies required for a qualification based purely on your experience.

RCC - Recognition of Current Competency

RCC is very similar to RPL; however this is a process that combines current industry experience as well as prior qualifications.

CT - Credit Transfer

When you have completed prior training, you can often avoid duplication of training by applying for a credit transfer. This could be transferring an exact unit of competency or a unit which is similar in nature and falls under the same training package.

The Recognition Process
Partial RPL

When registering for a course you may be eligible to apply for RPL, CT or RCC for selected units. What this means for you is that you may not have to complete all the required training, if you are eligible for recognition.

An accredited course is compiled of several units of competency, a partial RPL is where a student applies for recognition on selected units rather than all the units.

If you have prior qualifications and/or current industry experience that you think may be relevant to the course you are interested in, then you should enquire!

*Selected Units & Training Required

Full RPL

An accredited course is compiled of several units of competency; a Full RPL is where a student applies for recognition on all units of competency, which may result in no additional training required.

If you have prior qualifications and/or current industry experience that you think may be relevant to the course you are interested in, then you should enquire!

*All Units & No Training Required

If you are interested in enrolling for a RPL, please contact one of our course advisors to discuss your options. If you are unsure about what RPL is, please find some information below.
